Actor Sarath Babu dies at 73 due to multiple organ failure
Veteran Telugu actor Sarath Babu died on Wednesday at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 73.
Sarath Babu was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after he complained of breathlessness. He was diagnosed with multiple organ failure and was put on life support.
Despite the best efforts of the doctors, Sarath Babu could not be revived and he died at 11:30 PM on Wednesday.
The actor is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
Sarath Babu began his acting career in the 1970s and went on to star in over 200 films. He was known for his versatile acting and was a popular star in Telugu cinema.
Some of his most popular films include Srimanthudu, Baahubali, and Pokiri.
Sarath Babu was also a successful businessman and owned a chain of hotels and restaurants.
He was a popular figure in Telugu cinema and his death is a major loss to the industry.
